Dave Skelly, first President of Methuen Community Television
This scholarship is named in memory of Dave Skelly, who served as the first President of Methuen Community Studios from 1996 to 2004. Dave’s vision was clear that MCTV should be a vibrant and relevant organization dedicated to serving the citizens of Methuen. In Dave’s memory, we look to continue this mission through future generations.
Applicants for the $750 scholarship must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Methuen Resident
- Starting or currently attending college or other post high school program
- Demonstrate experience in Community Service, civic engagement or media creation
- Submit one letter of recommendation
- Communications or Film Major – submit a link to or listing of production work for judges to view
Applicants with a history of involvement with Methuen Community Studios are
also eligible for $1,000 scholarship
