It’s with extreme sadness that MCS shares the news of the passing of one of our family. Jim Dawe left us way too early on July 5, 2026 at the age of 65.
Jim Dawe has been a member of the MCS family since 2009, when he joined as a volunteer. Since then, he’s produced sports programming, “The Kids Show”, on-site field productions and so much more that we can’t even list.
In 2018, he came on board as our Equipment Services Assistant, keeping all of our “stuff”, field and in-studio, ready to go. He attempted to keep the staff in line with returning all of our gear, particularly camera cards, which were the bane of his existence. Jim, we promise someday we’ll put them all back at once.

His family has requested that donations in his memory can be made to Methuen Community Studios.
