
Dave Skelly, first President of Methuen Community Television
Dave Skelly was the first President of Methuen Community Television as it was called until 2021. Under his leadership, MCTV established a legacy of community service through the production of local television media that is still our mission today. You can contribute to our scholarship fund online with a tax-deductible donation.
This scholarship in his memory is open to Methuen residents only, graduating high school this year or or currently attending college or university, post-secondary institution, or CTE program. The following criteria has been established.
- Strong preference will be given to Applicants who have previously volunteered or worked with Methuen Community Studios, including members of their family. This is a preference, not a requirement.
- In lieu of previous experience with MCS, preference will be given to Applicants demonstrating a commitment to community service, civic engagement or media creation.
- Preference may be given to Applicants studying media or public service-related fields, but all majors are welcome.
Please Submit this application with one letter of recommendation. Applications without a letter will be considered incomplete.

Don Sestini, a junior majoring in Digital Photography at Southern New Hampshire University, was the recipient of the 2022 Dave Skelly Memorial Scholarship.

By 5:00 pm on April 10, 2023 – Late applications may not end up being considered as the committee will be making its decision in April. We will be asking the winner to attend our Music Bingo event on the evening of Friday, May 12 to receive their award.
