Methuen Community Studios received two Nor’easter Awards from the Alliance for Community Media – Northeast Region. This competition recognizes work from Public, Government and Educational Access media organizations in New England and New York.
The awards went to:
2nd Place for “Foster Kids of the Merrimack Valley: Celebrating 15 Years” in the category of Community Impact, produced and edited by Karen L. Hayden, with assistance from Michelle Houle and others on MCS staff;
3rd Place for “MCS: 25 Years of Service” in the category of About Access & Community Media, created by efforts of Karen Hayden, Ian Hayden and the other staff and volunteers of the 25 years of the organization’s life.
