METHUEN (MCS) — Methuen Community Studios covered the COVID Victims Memorial Service in Methuen on a rainy March 1st. City officials and residents still grieving their losses gathered to remember the 71 Methuen residents who died during the last year of COVID illness.

City Councilors Joel Faretra and Eunice Zeigler spearheaded the effort to include Methuen in national remembrances to mark the day. If passed in Congress, March 1st will become a day to remember COVID victims and survivors.
