METHUEN (MCTV) — In 2010, the Board of Directors began exploring the possibility of finding a new home for MCTV. Their goal was to secure a building that would meet the future needs of the station, be accessible to all residents of the city, allow for state of the art production and serve as a center of communication and learning.

The Board also intended to purchase the building without incurring debt.

During a five year period, board members explored all available sites in Methuen that could meet the needs of the station. In 2016, the Board voted to buy centrally located 20 Aegean Drive. The modern building allows MCTV to adapt to the ever-changing responsibilities and opportunities of community television.

The new home will allow MCTV to better serve the citizens of Methuen, through expanded programming, additional opportunities for participation and television production education.
