You can be a part of the programs you watch by becoming a member of MCS. Our members can develop the necessary skills to produce their own local television programming. Members are also encouraged to network with other members in order to facilitate the production of more programming.

- Free usage of the production equipment for the creation of programs for MCS*
- MCS newsletter and other mailings
- Invitations to participate in special events- including Workshops and Members’ Nights
- Voting privileges at the Corporation Annual Meeting
- Producing and Hosting your own television programming for all of the community
*There is no charge for membership except for Podcast studio usage. It is renewable on an annual basis. Membership is only available to Methuen Residents 16 years of age or older. Children ages 13-16 can become junior members if their parents are supervising their participation.

Programs designed for all ages and interests
Producing Your Podcast (1 session). Call to schedule a time – 978-689-8627
Learn how to plan and produce podcasts and what the rules for using MCS’s facilities are. This is open to anyone who is interested in using the podcast facilities. A membership form will need to be filled out in advance of booking the facilities. A membership fee will need to be paid for the first production.

**Director Certification (2 sessions plus completion of Prerequisite Studio Crew sessions)
Learn how to direct the studio production.
**MULTI CAMERA FIELD PRODUCTION CLASS (1 session)(Prerequisites: Field Camera Workshop/Studio Workshop)
Take your studio production out in the community. Learn about setting up cameras, tripods, multiple microphones, and the DataVideo system.

Special Notes:
Non-linear editing (Final Cut Studio), graphics creation (Broadcast Pix/Motion) and additional training is available on an individual or small group basis. Appointments can also be scheduled individually with MCS staff.
